2016 Poverty Symposium
Each year the Social Planning Council of Cambridge and North Dumfries holds a poverty symposium to look at issues of poverty in our local community, provincially and nation wide. Members of the community are invited to join discussions, listen to guest speakers and participate in seminars. Each year at the Poverty Symposium we hope not only to educate the community about poverty related issues but also to take action toward poverty alleviation.
